Pretty progressive for a Cavanagh, eh? Almost makes me wonder. But it has the Cav edge and the liner is stitched in. Obviously that doesn't guarantee anything but I can only go by the details presented.

I have another near unicorn that you can very much relate to, so stay tuned!

This Cavanagh trilby with a frayed edge bow and Cavanagh Edge arrived in the mail today. Though the tag indicates the Cavanagh is size 7 1/4, it measures out at 56.5 mm instead of 58 mm on the hat gauge. The brim is a bit narrower than anticipated as well... That said it's a nice hat in medium java brown. The price tag says it sold for $17.00, and the generation to which the Cavanagh belongs is unknown.
