The Dow Jones Fedora Index

Has anyone else noticed a correlation between uncertain financial times and the drop of newly listed vintage fedoras on ebay? Inflation jitters, Iran's rumblings about nukes and continued job losses to overseas production have made the Dow Jones Fedora Index tumble. The irony, of course is, many of these same unlisted fedoras were worn during the great Depression. Hmm... Somebody call Lou Dobbs.
