Teaching in Ecuador was good...travelling the countryside looking for hats....better.....busting a large Italian company for selling Cuenca finos as Montecristi....priceless.....

Now the bad news...the roads to Montecristi are closed in a strike....I can´t get there!!!!!

Welcome back, Panamabob. I finally got my hat back from the blocker. It was a mixed bag, with the best part being the hat.

People...work stoppage...not enough hats...

Borsalino...Cuenca hats, Homero Ortega...labelled as Montecristi. Ortega says Montecristi is a synonym for the Panama Hat....BS I say.
