Recently I have gotten my hands on a light brownish grey tweed vest and matching morning coat from 1919, it is beautiful with a light blue stripe that is only visible in the right light. But I am having some difficulty matching it with the right pair of trousers, it looks good with a Victorian pair of striped black trousers but what i'm wondering is if its considered okay to wear a light grey jacket with black trousers?
