Classic heavy-duty hip-length black steerhide jacket
from Vanson Leathers of Fall River, Massachusetts USA.

Quite simply, built like a tank.
Outstanding original broken-in condition, the thick leather is soft and flexible.
Otherwise flawless. No cracks, holes, rips, cuts, piercings, loose seams, nothing.
Main zipper recently replaced at the factory, sewn through the original holes, good as new.
You could have the whole jacket re-dyed at the factory,
and it would be indistinguishable from new.
Vanson traced the serial number to pre-1990 production, that's all they could tell me.
Not really intended as a motorcycle jacket, it's a little too long in the body, has no wind flap on the zipper, and open cuffs.
Shoulders 23.5" across the back, just below the collar
Sleeves 24" top of the shoulder to the cuff
Armpit-to-armpit 26.5" zipped up and lying flat
Down the back 29" collar seam to hem

Why am I selling it? Because it's a little too wide in the shoulders for me.
Otherwise, no way would I let this baby go, I'll never see another like it.
