VS Blue Smoke for trade COMPLETE

I picked this up on ebay and while it's a great hat I don't think Blue Smoke is the color for me.

The only thing that I see that's not perfect is 2 very small spots on the crown, one on the left side and one in the center about where finger tips would hit it. These are only noticeable if you go looking for them.
I tried to get a pic but the closest I can zoom my camera doesn't really show anything.
It looks to me like the previous owner hardly wore this hat, the crown hasn't been played with much and the brim is pretty pristine. I wore it for about 2 hours to a doctor's appt.

I'm not really interested in selling this, I'd rather trade for it.
I'm a size 7 1/2.

Sold to me as a size 7 1/2 and it's pretty close. I measure the sweat at 60.5cm. It's a tad large for me with a little extra room on the sides and I'm an egg shaped long oval according to Art.
DOB 1-08-07 according to the registration certificate
Registration # 0108073
Initials JD on sweat
5 1/2" crown when open
2 3/4" brim
1 1/2" ribbon with a bi-color bow. The outer edges match the main ribbon with a lighter band in the middle.

Beauty of a hat, sadly, nothing to trade and a tad too big.

Is there some reason why you don't simply reshape the hat to
fit you? Sounds like the size is there, it just needs to be wetted down
and reshaped, no?

Sounds like you and I are about the same size. I'm tempted to try
reshaping that hat myself.

What are you looking for in trade?

If I was going to keep it I'd certainly reshape it to fit my head. as you say there is definitely enough room.
The only thing I don't like about this hat is the color.

As for waht I'm looking for: ideally something old black and silky

I don't know what that means. Do you mean a top hat, or a fedora with a satin finish, or something else?
