I'm looking for a classic tuxedo (dinner jacket for our British friends), of good quality, in wearable condition.
I'm pretty much a 40 Regular, on the nose. Trouser-wise, I'm a 33/34 waist with a 30 inseam. I also have access to a good tailor, so anything in the ballpark is worth consideration, as long it has some fabric with which to work.
My preference is for a single-breasted, peak lapel, single-button jacket, but I won't be a stickler -- I just want it to look classic and presentable.
Price-wise ... well, I'm trying to beat the price of a new black-tie purchase, and my budget is somewhat limited.
