Penn-Craft Celluloid 1931 Panama-style hat - never worn

...And to whom should I send this to for a sweat & blocking? [huh]

Evidence seems to show it was , in some fashion, a division of STETSON. However it seems to have grown from a self-help co-op community founded by the Quakers in response to The Great Depression.

You send it to Optimo. Keep it away from open flames, by the way. Celluloid is very flamable.

Very good counsel, many thanks. Mr. Thompson is just the man for the job, I am sure.

I have heard tell of antique nitrate billiard balls exploding at a hard break! To say nothing of the film stock that has resulted in untold loss of so many cultural treasures!

Do ya' think eighty year old nitrate might still be... volatile? :eeek:
Why, that is just the ticket to wear in the Tn. summertime! I'll blow my head off! (Double Indemnity for my Mrs., it's a win-win, eh? LOL :p)
