An unexexpected cool snap today will warrant the wearing of my new green Greek hat (no fishermen involved):

Maker/Retailer labled as 'Agnoulita' 'Hand Made in Greece'......then...another bunch of stuff in Greek. Ad said it was Rabbit felt and I have no reason to doubt it....came in a really spiffy box!

Here's their website:

Wonderful shade of green. There's a thread dedicated to Agnoulita hats. You may care to check it out and post yours there, too.

Very nice. I've been looking at these for a bit; I think my next hat might well be an Agnoulita, given their reputation for being a nice, durable hat while offering a few customised options (like contrasting brim binding and ribbon and such) at very reasonable prices (particularly for the rabbit fur, though I hope to stretch a little for one of the beaver options).

Beaver Brand 20X Pure Beaver. This is the first Beaver Brand hat I've ever bought.

This is the "unknown stranger" that came with the T & W Lees Bowler I posted the other day:

I haven't seen this brand or logo before:

The liner is glued in, and this is the only label under the sweatband:

It's definitely nothing special, but a quite well made, solid Homburg. And at just under 7 euros ($7.50, £6) it was well worth going for.

It's German. Made by VEB Guben. Several examples to be found on the lounge. Your description is spot on I think: solid, but nothing special. A good looking homburg though.

Thanks, Stefan.

Thought it was a German maker. I just couldn't find any examples on the FL of Prima.
