Perry, The one thing I like about ORs and Strats is their versatality to wear with either casual or dressy attire. Can't go wrong with that hat.

On this beautiful and pleasant afternoon from Central Ohio I'm wearing what has become my favorite "go to hat". This is one of my 3X Open Roads that I recently converted and added a mid-ribbon to. After a little pouncing during the conversion the felt came out really nice and soft to the touch...

Good catch!... I have half a gazillion gray hats but only a couple with enough of a blue cast to match this jacket. (I guess I should really get rid of a quarter gazillion or so.:eusa_doh

Thank you very much gentlemen for your kind comments, it has been a while since I have logged in, been so busy with different projects.

The quality and variety of hats on display here are truly fantastic, some really awesome looks.

Just wish vintage hats where more readily available here in Australia, sadly that's not the case, and I find myself looking at all the wonderful hats on sale in the states, and I am sure my small, collection would be much larger if shipping rates where not so high these days.

Anyway gentlemen, keep the pictures coming, and you all have a great day.

I took a cue from Harv, and went with another cattleman. 4X Stetson western from MacAllen, TX, while checking out the yard just after a tornado/hailstorm (thankfully the tornado was small and not sure if it touched down about 5 miles from here). But I did get some neat pics.
