Early 1950's Shudde Bros Beaver Deluxe with oilskin/onionskin liner cover. 3 inch brim, Mode Edge. Just got it back from cleaning at Paris Hatters in San Antonio. I didn't realize the liner cover was oilskin until after the hat was cleaned.

You have such a complimentary way with words. Thank you.

The Admiral Lord Stefan, I love it. The baggies as promised. I even got the disapproving seamstress photographed. Note her disapproving facial expression.
My, my, just another example that we are a wonderfully diverse group here on TFL...and all quite handsome, too!

Robert, i’m betting Eric would love to be in your lovely bride Miss Tina’s queue for Hawaiian shirts. I know i would.

You will have to get in line. There is a already a backlog of orders a mile long for one of Ms. Tina's famous Hawaiian shirts!

This week in hats for me:
Messing around with iPhone effects with Weather Hats BOP, TX hatters Cuenca bowler, Montana Peaks hats Sahara Gus, Clearwater derby with some colleagues, Greeley Hatworks western homburg, Limpia Creek black western, and Buckaroo Hatters Whiskey Derby this morning back on the porch.
Nice lineup, Jeff

What a flatterer you are, I love it. The ravages of time comes to us all, as Marilyn sang in "Diamonds,"
"Men grow cold
As girls grow old
And we all lose our charms in the end."

Tina & I, see, we were young once.

The newest arrival mid 50s Borsalino (more in Post New Hats and Borsalino Brotherhoo) came in handy and appreciated to deflect some of the intense rays encountered this weekend visiting Pine Island, Sanibel and Captiva on the west coast of Florida. The destruction from hurricane Ian last year is still.. very very much evident. We did manage to take a ”Tiki Bar Boat“ sunset cruise.
