Yesterday I posted about my Mallory XV claiming it did not have a date on the liner. I even included a photo.

Well that’s obviously wrong since the date is plain as day on it: “…SINCE 1817”. As I understand it, that makes this a post-1946 Stetson takeover hat.

Apparently I need more time to get familiar with this guy, so today we are hanging out together at home.
(Yesterday’s mistaken post has been removed.)

Also yesterday, my family had a bowling day. We were having too much fun to take many photos, but my niece and I grabbed a shot together. It was a really great time - but also sad since my nephew is leaving home today.

JBS RDOR, interior renovations by Randall Renshaw.

I see you’ve made the choice impossible again this week Stefan. My first inclination was towards the Mossant with its playboy-esque styling…. But then there was that homburg and the next homburg and the next…..
Thanks, Joe. Choices, choices...:)

Another stunning Sunday sampling! First place for me, is the Cambiaghi, followed by the Mosant, and third place goes to the Borsalino Vaiato.
Thanks, Mark.

Tell it to the missus, Stefan :)

It was especially hard to choose one favourite from this week's array of hats so I'll just go for them all.

Remember me if you ever find any of them in a size 5 1/2
Thank you, gentlemen!

Wegener "Em / 7" possibly late 1930s. NOS and in perfect condition. The blueish green felt is very light weight. I found this Soft Felt back in 2020.

Absolutely wonderful find, Steve.

The colour plus the ribbon and bow treatment are spectacular.

I always love it too when the town and hat establishment are named on the sweatband and/or liner. Especially when the town and hatter are somewhat "new".

Steve, Thank you! And thank you again for pointing out the spectacular bow treatment. I haven't come across another hat from this hatter's establishment.
