What kind of hat is this?

I saw this hat on television. Does anyone recognize it? What kind is it. It appears to have a low crown with unusual swoops on the brim. Also, do you think it is a dimensional brim? Thanks in advance.

It looks to me like a wool outback, although I can't guarantee the wool part. However, if my hypothesis is true, it explains the swoop and small crown as the results of shrinking.

Either way, the swoop is definitely a result of the hat being, or, more likely, having become too small for his head.

I believe I have this same hat. If so, its wool and it hasnt shrunk. Theres just not much crown there. Mine is unlined and has the wool swirl symbol in the top of the crown.
