WTB: knockabout hat

It is that time of year again, when I need to either find a hat or break down and buy a boonie hat (and my ebay luck lately is gone gone GONE). I'd prefer to find a decent felt hat but it is going to be a knockabout, worn in the field, doing chores, walking dogs, etc, hat. Size 7 3/8-7 1/2 (I'm right in the middle). Lighter color, but not white or silverbelly (stains too easily).

Ideally, someone's going to come up with a beat-up Open Road or San Antonio with a 3"+ brim, or a western that can be cut down to a similar configuration. I don't have any major brand loyalties, beyond a certain fondness for Resistols.
