Here is a 1951 khaki wool US Army officer's cap for sale. Size is 7 1/8. It is in good condition but is something of a franken-cap. There are two moth nips which are noted in the photos. I needed to replace the front chinstrap and the eagle badge (hence franken-cap). The front chinstrap is a little darker brown hue than the visor and back-strap, as well as a little wider. I think they probably changed the design sometime after WW2 a little. The eagle badge is a nice large N.S. Meyer eagle, probably WW2 era as is the front chinstrap. As noted the rest of the cap is 1951. Rain cover also included.
