Yet another Borsalino-

BellyTank

I'll Lock Up
This one's a nice pale Grey, a little later in vintage than the others I have,
a shade narrower in the brim than the '40s ones. Same, nice, soft felt and
snappy brim that I've come to expect.
The wind trolley is a bit loose but nothing a little hot water won't fix.
(Sorry about the blurry photos-)

Nice hat, heres one I'll purchase soon from Hatguys in Oakland,CA. from my trip to the bay area last weekend (Thanks Andy!) its a Borsalino Classic open crown, only in brown. It was a fun, informal to try on many styles, next will come a grey fedora, prefer open crown.

I must keep my sources under my...er... they are diverse.

The brim is a shade under 2.5" at the front and a shade under 2.25" at the sides.
I like the proportions of this one- might put a fat, black ribbon on it.

There are a lot of Borsalinos in Europe of course- but It's difficult to find them-
especially of the 'right' vintage, style, colour and of course, size.
I won't pay eBorsalino prices though.
