Last night, 75th anniversary of the Buffalo Philharmonic at Kleinhans. I wore my 75 year old Petrocelli suit (I've owned it for half its life) and similar age Borsalino. Forgot to fix the bash on the hat, but when I go out with my beautiful wife, nobody's looking at me anyway.

Once again sporting the Bluegrass Campdraft... what can I say, I'm on a kick with it! This is one of those [few] hats I have zero plans of ever parting with.

I have been wearing mine several days each week since receiving it. A very good "winter hat" and I love how the color appears differently in various lighting.

Winds gusting up to 50 mph later(getting there now) and 12-24" snow expected over the next two days.

Is there a JtL creasing instructions? Can't get it to hold that pinch.

Hatophile, your last three are good, but I would be hard pressed to choose just one of the fedoras.
RLK, a very classy black hat!
DRB, good guys wear white hats. White good hats.
Rodkinks, agreed: that Playboy is sweet.

Mallory Aristocrat Quality - backbow porkpie. I thought this made for a somewhat less dressy hat, that would best couple with the somewhat more whimsical bow tie.

Why do you ask?

It does take on different hues. When I first got the hat and posted photos, some folks couldn't even tell it was green... but that was also under crummy lighting for a quick "here's what I got, better pics later!" type of thing.

That porkpie really brings home the bacon... expertly worn, Torpedo.
Between the porkpie, the oxblood and Dan's red velvet cupcake review... I'm ready for dinner.

Dennis, your Gary White looks good enough to eat.

I guess many of us will have some shoveling to do tomorrow - what hat will you wear?

More than 50 mph--like being lashed. About half a dozen attempts and my finger was too stiff to press the shutter.

Torpedo, I am constantly amazed at how any hat you put on your noggin looks great. To pull off a porkpie with panache -- nicely done! :eusa_clap

Cheers,

Hey gang! You folks in the path of the storm be safe and warm. Keep those lids anchored down and the hatches battened. A good fire in the fire place, a stew in the belly and a brandy for a nightcap. I'll be lifting one for your safety and warmth.

Some great looking hats today!

Cheers!

Dan
