Yesterday I wore my Stetson Temple in Caribou with a charcoal gray suit and was stopped maybe 6-8 times to be told how good it looked--one of the times it wasn't even on may head. Good for the ego! Sometimes I wear fedoras with caual clothes but this was the real suit and tie and hat look and I really need to do that more often.....

Australian Stingy Whippet this aft.

Sometimes you feel like a big brim, sometimes you don't.

This afternoon I am wearing my Australian Whippet, deep brown, about on some errands. When I go to describe the felt on this hat I want to use the word creamy. It has a smooth, luxurious feel. Fexture that gently rubs against your fingers. Not long fibers, but more noticable than smooth. The ribbon work is just plain classy.

Great photos Blackthorn. I particularly like the camel ride. I've seen a couple of camels in my time, but never one that neat and clean. Looked like you must have had a wounderful trip.
