#1 Holiday Inn!!!! Bing and Fred masterpiece! #2 The Bells Of St. Mary's, I'm not Catholic, but Bing always gets me. #3 Miracle On 34th Street is a perfect Christmas flick.

White Christmas, Holiday Inn, A Christmas Story, and A Christmas Carol (1938 and 1999).
The 1999 version if you don't know, has Patrick Stewart and IMHO this is one of his best roles. He personifies Scrooge perfectly and it's a joy to see each year. A Christmas Story??? Yeah, I got on that film about 12yrs ago and watch it several times a year during it's 24hr showing. I also have 3 copies on VHS, and 3 copies on DVD, as well as a full sized leg lamp. :D

Single favorite Christmas movie is “Miracle on 34th Street.” Watching it serves as our the traditional ‘kick off’ of the season for our family.

“The Bishops Wife” is a close second, and George C Scott in “A Christmas Carol” rounds it out.

The season is fast approaching...

Has anyone mentioned Planes, Trains and Automobiles?

I know it's set at American Thanksgiving but we consider it a Christmas movie too! As Canadian Thanksgiving is in October, the snow-covered settings in the film lend it a Christmasy feel to us!

"Those aren't pillows!!!!!"

My Christmas film list:

A Christmas Carol/Scrooge (Alistair Sim)
It's A Wonderful Life
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Elf

TV Specials/Cartoons:

Rudolf/Frosty the Snowman/Little Drummer Boy/Year Without a Santa Claus/Santa Claus is Coming to Town/Etc.
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Polar Express
Pee-Wee Herman's Christmas Special (really - where else can you meet Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello and Cher, k.d. lang and Grace Slick?)
The Trailer Park Boys Christmas Special (yes, really, and it's a Christmas Eve tradition as that's when my wife and I first watched it. Naturally, we have the DVD....)

I forgot those Sam...yeah I put the DVR on Rudolph each year, whether I'm watching or not, to give it the ratings. :D I bought them on DVD years ago, and still enjoy them. Is there an age limit? I'm 41....

Others in our collection:

A TRUE FAV of mine I'd forgotten earlier - Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas, a Jim Henson Muppet production.

Guilty pleasures:

Christmas With the Kranks
Jingle All The Way
Love, Actually (soppy at times, and pornographic at others - saw it on a plane once. My wife asked me how they dealt with one particular story line. Simply - they deleted it in its entirety! Those who've seen the film will understand...)

Scrooged with Bill Murray
Miracle on 34th Street (the remake with Dylan McDermott.... in that overcoat, suit and scarf.... be still my heart)

Home Alone
Home Alone 2
Elf

And of course all the cartoon specials:

How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Frosty the Snowman
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
Rudolph’s Shiny New Year
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
The Year Without a Santa Claus
T’was the Night Before Christmas
Charlie Brown Christmas
The Nightmare Before Christmas

One Lounger said a few years ago that she felt "unclean" if she missed A Charlie Brown Christmas. A perfect description I think. Even if I own these Christmas specials on DVD, it's always more...um, special to watch them when they're actually on!
