Three awesome hats this morning. Whippets, Pilgrams, and a Royal deluxe.

I'm wearing something a lot newer but IMHO one of the better current production hats.

My Akubra Federation IV in Moonstone and a new Pea coat.

Your head handles the size of that Fed very well. Not everyone's does. So it's got good dimensions for you.

It is only 20's F this morning. That is not really cold. My working on loosening bolts on dock platforms prior to storage stored has been taking a LOT more time than I planned on. Hence, my hands and ears are now cold. I took a hat pic and came inside warming up. More to do, after I warm up a bit.

Nice work, gents. Eric, that Flagship is top notch.

I followed Manfred's lead... had some time this morning to clean up my newly acquired Vita-Felt Process Stratoliner. It appears the hat had rested in a telescoped gambler crease for some time. It took a bit of work with the flange and Garvé, but I was able to remove almost all traces of it and restore the brim to a respectable shape. Here are some photos of the hat on the flange ready for a light steam iron and a couple of comparison shots with my non-vita Strat of similar vintage. They are interesting to compare... I will share some additional pictures and thoughts in the hat comparison thread later today.
