Nice variety in the lids to start the week, gents.

T Jones, Monte, Manfred and hatsR--a playboy I'm not, but it's a nice hat. Thank you all.

For work today it was the Borsalino Light Weight.

With our daughter away at school, I had to go get the Mother's Day flowers - wanted to beat the rush :)

When I first started with hats, I put the asymmetric Hollywood brim style on the first ones I had. Since then, I've pretty much kept to the same conventional swoopy style all the time.

I wonder if our Dobbs are the same hat and inflation had set in?

Haaaaang on Swoopy... Swoopy hang on! My Borso Savoy is probably my swoopiest [and lightest] brim...

Cool Borsalinos, GD n AnA (nice swoop too)

GD, I like the Marathon too. I sold the only one I've owned. Have to get another some day.

+1. That Marathon is sweet.
So many great hats today, as always.
Alive and Amplified-- beauty, that Savoy.
David... I absolutely never tire of seeing that black cherry. Glad you had an opportunity to break it out today!

I began today with my Falcon Park "Virtuoso" (bone felt with burgundy ribbon) and then broke out the Ultrafino Montecristi, for the 92 degree highs, just to see if it would stay on in the south wind. So far so good. The heat helps this one, which is often a bit loose.

Perry: Nice look with the Champ and shirt/tie/jacket combo!
Sam: Great pair, the jaunty angle on the Panama is a good choice
Monte: Cool band on that straw, for my tastes anyway a lot of those old pugs are a bit.....flashy. But yours pops really nice.
hatsrme: I have a beautiful Cavanagh Milan with the same affliction. I guess they didn't know "back in the day" that the adhesive would leave such marks. I've tried to very gently scratch at it with my fingernail and it seems to have gotten the marks less visible. VMMV.
Robert: Nice Borso, very unique ribbon.
Alan: Great Stetson, they sure don't make them like that anymore, that's a great shade of grey.
g.durand: another nice pair, but I particularly like that Borso!
AnA: Another sharp looking vintage Borso, I sense a pattern here!
Jeff: great band on the Panama, very unique.

+1! That's a really fantastic Dobbs, Perry.

Jared-- the band on that Panama was something I made using buffalo bone beads I stained in coffee, pre-drilled bits of turquoise, and a shark's tooth I found on the Potomac when I was somewhere around 7-8 years old. My parents had a jeweler drill through it awhile back and I finally found a use for it! Strung together with natural sinew as well.
