All most likely 30s, maybe later on the Indians one, which are more difficult to date.

The brocades are from the 1930s. The hand loomed ties point more towards the 1950s.

I've always found the Indian ties difficult to date - they seem quite consistent (length/width) from (guesstimate) decade to decade.

very true, I might argue the striped woven tie could be earlier since it reminds me of 30-40s striped neckties but I cant say for sure.

I believe 30s neckties are so prevalent in your part of the country
On eBay I get them by the bundles, and they are always sellers from the east with labels from Connecticut, Pennsylvania.
I love it when they have the address on the label. I look them up on Google maps and you can see what has become of the place.

Nice, that makes my second 30's tie.
Found the last one two weeks ago at the same store.
Not a huge fan of the color/pattern, but it's in great shape.

A Wembley ranch-themed tie, c. late-'50s, in tri-color pattern. Had to turn the tie inside-out and then iron the heck out of it to get it to lie flat. Worked, though...

Found a basket of ties in a shop and spent some time digging. Here's what I unearthed:

2 '20s ties, one knit, one cut on the straight of the grain.

From a menswear shop in Saginaw. I don't know what the mystery is.

Five more ties from three different Sagniaw shops.

More. The blue one is knot planned and should clean up well.
