It's my expression for the 40s and 50s jackets that are good enough to be worn now on a daily basis/the collectors who like to wear out their finds because of the excellent condition. What is "the wearable vintage market"?
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. The Eastman makes the most authentic repro of this style. The 40s and 50s are mostly made out of rayon-satin lining, not cotton. The rayon-satin just feels luxurious and vintage, plus, they are easy to slip on! If you want cotton, stick to A2s.
That Air Comfort design is kind of a cross between the A-2, the G-1 and the B-15; alot of military fliers would've loved it had it been a military-issue garment (call it the AN-J-5!).
Bound to be somebody already marketing something like this as a "lost experimental militar design" - alongside the MA2, the G8 and the Leather B15...
