For comparison my peacoat is lighter than an Aero 1930 HB in FQHH and it's as supple as lambskin, no break time needed
I don't think that Stu at LW uses any veg-tanned leathers. He's a chrome-tanned guy.
I like goat for it's lighter weight. A 4+ pound leather jacket is a deal killer for me, even if it is goat.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Love to see photos of that oneGoat makes for a great, much lighter jacket that still has heft. It has good drape, doesn't scuff easily and ages visibly more slowly than fqhh. My 50's HB in seal goat from Aero is my go-to jacket (I had it made to Long Half Belt length as I needed a bit of wind cover where I was at the time).
