What hat are you wearing for archery? I pretty much like my Lincoln Bennett Bowler for launching arrows. The brim does not get in the way of the string when at full draw, as opposed to larger brims.

I did but with a compound crossbow. It was killing my back.
I did some archery for fun.
Tried a precision crossbow. Fun but heavy.
