My new Stetson Austral arrived a few days ago. Not sure when I'll get a chance to wear it other than tonight, since it's Halloween and no one will bat an eye, but I've always wanted a Boss of the Plains style hat.

We were invited to a friend's house tonight, so I had to scramble to put together some type of costume. I remembered the recent mugshot posted in the non-Shorpy thread and decided to try to put together a simlar outfit. Not quite the same, but not a bad approximation.

Edit: Should have added that the hat is a particularly fine Dobbs Homburg that I was lucky enough to purchase from ofcoursemyhorse.
