On the picking of hats...

I think that my pick for the Denver trip just came today.

ASCO Hats derby likely from the 1910s or early 1920s.

What better hat to wear west than a derby (and one made in the West)... the quintessential hat of the history of the American West?

I posted some stuff on the bowler thread about this hat and the company history, if anyone is interested. http://www.thefedoralounge.com/index.php?posts/2053779 http://www.thefedoralounge.com/index.php?posts/2053757

(Yes, I am geeking out about this one) [emoji6]

Love it Matt. What a very unique hat. It looks great on you as well!
Best of luck on your trip. My thoughts are with your friend.

Wish I could say the same...

Bob, why don't you march down the street and talk to Mr. DelMonico? I'm sure he'd hook you up! Regardless, your new custom is pretty dang nice, too!

hehe, well.. I let the hunter keep the meat:)
btw, off topic , but do you have both ore any of them, a stetson strat ore a stetson open road? Im wondering if I could pull one of them off!

Oh, you could pull it off.

But you wouldn't have it for long, I'm sure he'd chase you down the street for it.

Another early morning at the office. Wore the Strat to keep the chill off my head.

You wear the BGCD well! Love it.
Another perfect "over the goggles" , rclark! Wishing you a speedy recovery. Any coolness I may have I picked up is from associating with You fine folks!

Back to this Borsalino again. It's the one I automatically grab when I'm running out. Brim down to mix it up a little

Tommy, that Borsalino is a show stopper for sure!

these two pieces right here embody everything that is wonderful about fur felt hats .... just absolutely fantastic fellas

Thanks, Anthony! That is quite the compliment coming from someone with such a fine collection of lids such as yourself! You never disappoint.

Love the bash on that BGCD, Bob! Bravo!

Thanks Fruno. I have other less expensive irons in the fire. A rabbit "rust" from Gannon and another Camp Draft from EA. Still, that doesn't keep me from coveting your Stetsonian.

Oh, you could pull it off.
