hehe, well.. I let the hunter keep the meat:)
btw, off topic , but do you have both ore any of them, a stetson strat ore a stetson open road? Im wondering if I could pull one of them off!

not sure what you are asking to be honest

I have multiple Stratoliners and Open Roads ...

and I think you can absolutely pull them off...just the way you pull of all of your awesome hats

and depending on your size they are often quite easy to come by on the vintage market ... but unfortunately and unluckily for me things get tricky for some reason around 7 1/4 and up

You and me both, brother.

it is a blessing and a curse my friend

a curse because it is quite difficult to find very nice vintage hats and harder to get them at a reasonable price... I do enjoy the thrill of the chase

and a blessing because if I were a size 7 I would have no where to sleep for two reasons

1. there would be no room

2. the wife would have me out on my ass

Man that is the truth! I seem to gravitate to a certain few that are my favorites, but I love being able to choose from a large number of options. So, I either need to buy more real estate or sell some hats! It is just so hard deciding on which ones I want to part with.

Hey everybody!
It's Thrift Store Thursday!
Wearing this little thing I found for $2 a couple days ago. Bought it for the pug, but decided that the hat wasn't in too rough shape to fix up and wear. I believe it to be coconut straw, based on the similarity to another that I have that is narked as such.

1 3/4" brim, 5" crown. My guess is 60's.
Have a great day!

I've developed another problem. The wife, a 6 7/8, has begun a modest collection. I have found her a couple of nice lids at good prices, and I'm living vicariously through those purchases.

She has a nicer OR than I have, and a great Lee mid ribbon I found her for $10.

This may prove to be a bad thing...

I see the most unbelievable hats in that size... it makes me sick :)

not sure what you are asking to be honest

-my written its no so good. sorry :/
I was asking because as I see it the open road is slightly more cowboy /western look than the Strato.. They both are super cool hats and i was thinking if you could rock a openroad with you beard , i could as well.. beacuse often i find it hard with some hats and a long bard Vs a clean shaven look..

I have multiple Stratoliners and Open Roads ...

and I think you can absolutely pull them off...just the way you pull of all of your awesome hats

Thanks- Im hoping so! I will try to test both!
