I have a few more pictures they are from the sale of these to me, I purchased these raybans to replace a pair just like them, which I had left in a rental car taking Daniel to the Casino a few months ago. Well someone at the rental place decided to return that pair (they are just like new also) and now we have this never opened in the box sunglasses we do not need. These are the 52MM Original Wayfarer model, 2140 I think the model number is. Everything is still in the box, I have not yet even opened the box (I will inspect them before shipping)

These cost about $100.00 when you find a deal on this size but I am willing to ship to any place CONUS for $80.00 Good deal for anyone wanting a pair of fresh Raybans to wear. Post here and PM me if you want these rascals!

Great price on a great pair of shades.

That's almost 1/2 off from new retail price of $150.00.

I had a nice pair of Wayfarer's, but gave them to the kid as the arms were too short and barely reached over the tops of my ears.

Wish I had the dosh.

Hello Charlie "somebody".....hahah HA!

No more shades for Charlie! The last Wayfarer I bought was about ten years ago. Found in a side street convenience store in Boston, they were the made-in-USA-originals, for only $50. The shop keeper knew NOT what he had, and I couldn't get the money out of my pocket fast enough! I used them as "old man" sunglasses, over my prescription lenses until they (SO sadly) fell out of my pocket while mowing the lawn. I still have all the parts...

I would think anyone needing some sunglasses to go with any vintage look, would love these. Of course if you are looking for an older vintage look, you may need to find something with a rounded look to them, some John Lennon type of sunglasses.

I should also add, that is someone wants to purchase these, please be sure you know they can or will fit or not. I'd hate to have someone buy these and not be happy with how they fit or anything like that.

These are just like what many famous Stars have worn. They are an Icon in the History of Sun Glass Design and fame.

What is the length of the temples (from frame to back of ear)?
I will measure with a tape, as I do not know the millimeter size of that. I will have to tell you using a normal tape measure.

It appears to be around 3 1/2 inches back from the frame to the center of the apex of the bend part (the bottom of the frame heading to the back) and without adding the curve going back, just a straight measurement to the end of the frame (ear piece) they are 5 and 1/8th inch long.

Raybans are a fairly universal sunglasses. My Husband wears a size 7 1/2 hat, a big head however even I could wear these (they are big on me, but I could wear them).

I would love for someone to buy these and again, the size of the frames and such is a fairly universal issue there. They are the 52mm size, which is the larger of the two sizes for men's Wayfarer that RayBan makes. I have not even opened the box they are in to see the color of the case, it may be brown/tan or black. If someone buys them I will then open the box for that person and take a picture of everything so they know what is being sent and that there is no damage to anything prior to shipping. And these are sold AS IS!

I too wear a 7 1/2 hat, so I too must have a large head. :D

I only ask because I had a pair that I had bought used, but the temples were short and barely reached the back of my ears. So I gave them to my son. An expense pair of sunglasses for a 12 year old and I didn't want to make the same mistake again. I'll measure his when I get home to see how much difference there is between yours and his and I'll let you know.

Thanks.
