I've owned two in my time collecting ... later models than this and neither fit quite right so I sold them

If you can find one of these " pre-mister" Disney's I think you will like it much better. Really well constucted... ( nothing Mickey Moused) ; )

no not all that much like a Stratoliner and as Robert said a bit more like the ORs of the era if we are comparing.
but it really is just a thin ribbon western style fedora as I call them
has a cool bow that is different from the Stetson offerings and superb felt
really great piece ....one of my favorites

My first vintage was a 50s Disney. Still a nice hat but it doesn't get much head time these days. Those older ones are stunners though.

I love my Disney hat. It's not as old as some, but the felt is really nice and the dark navy color is perfect.
