Great looking Blue! Love the ribbon. My first attempt at a hat-from-scratch. A Blue Monkey creation with a big blue sawtooth:
The would-have-been brim binding on this gave me serious grief after one too many re-stitches so I just trimmed a quarter inch off the edge and left it raw. The next blank comes tomorrow and I'm not calling it done until its edge is bound.
Nice lids, everyone!
Beautiful location to wear a Whippet!Whippet on the California coast. North of Santa Barbara.

I totally agree about that typeface on the name. Very thin looking felt on that brim - zephyr breeze thin.Stetson The Motor... one of those hats you buy for the typeface. A few have put-puttered onto the Lounge and there is a little thread dedicated to this moment in Stetson and automotive history here. I repaired tears in the felt forward and aft - tolerable job but keeps me from wearing this more often. It was nice to steam it up and get it out in the daylight today.
Simply fabulous Daniele!Today I come late to the parade of hats and some magnificent hats have already arrived at your eyes
Lobbia Borsalino color "Mirtillo"
It is bought used in Italy, it came in not very good condition
I made a small investment and has been restored in the States
Great work of Bob at BSHW
It's probably been sold before the Second World War in the countries of Eastern Europe.
The paper label is missing this increase the difficulty of dating this Lobbia Borsalino
Thanks for the likes on the grey Chamois Barbisio
Stupendous! I also like the gold embellishment to the logo. Immaculate.pre 1946 Stetson merger Mallory Premier

Like it a lot. What is the liner like? Big M or the older type?OK, here are the newer pics from today.... the first one is still a bit out of focus but the true colors show a little better (on the 2nd picture):
+1 Me too.Dammit, Harv. You've had me worried.
I don't know the first thing about dating the Marathon hats. Here's some shots of the liner and sweat from the seller:Like it a lot. What is the liner like? Big M or the older type?
Been out for a spell. Had a great time catching up. Everyone looking dapper as ever.
Cheers,
H.
BB, I really like that hat a lot. Along with the Levine they are both excellent additions to your collection of late.Stetson on this stormy Fat Tuesday. Heading out to find an indoor celebration.

Edit:Late post from an early pic. Can't imagine why that happened.
Thanks for all of the "feel betters", etc. Slowly, but (hopefully) surely I'm on my way.

Welcome back @1mach1 . Missed you and hope that all is well with you and yours.
What hat are you wearing today?
Good to see you didn't forget your noggin cover today, Matt. You must have felt pretty bad yesterday. Nice Dobbs for Ash Wednesday. I like that hat.
I'm weathering the stormage in SW Ohio this morning under the protection of a Gus Miller and a Drizabone duster.
