In a couple of hours Tina and I will be at a New Tear's Eve Jolly, where the mode of dress is: "Hollywood Glamour." I'm still undecided whether to wear the white (ivory) tux, or the black one. Tina has made herself this dress in burgundy & gold.

I will wait until she's got the dress on and then see which tux compliments her outfit the best.
Despite winter, the short daylight hours and that loss of sunshine, I'm still wearing the shirts that she made: Happy New Year to you all.

Nice tropical theme true to the Aloha tradition Bob. Looks like carefree cotton too, EZ to wear and enjoy. We're a long ways off for weather to break my Aloha's out here in the PNW, envy your opportunity!

I personally LOVE those vintage 4-pocket w/ epaulets Aloha Shirts. Kinda combines safari tailoring with island fabrics. Too bad I can never find them in my size. Back when I first met my Hawaii-born wife and first started visiting Hawaii, in the early 1980s, I went into a big store in Honolulu (Sears?) I remember that they had an entire rack with those shirts. However, both my (now) wife and the sales lady shooed me away saying "only old retired navy guys wear those shirts" or words to that effect. I shrugged, probably because I thought such shirts would be available forever. I was wrong. Now they have all but disappeared.

:D I went through my closet recently and there are over 20 Hawaiian shirts in there. The problem is, about half of those mysteriously shrunk!
