A while back, I won an Aero Highwayman in an unworn condition on ebay. Lovely jackets except the shoulders were so wide it looked as if I still had the coat hanger in when I wore it!
Decided to try to get it altered a few weeks ago and did a search for someone who could do a decent job fairly locally. Most of the very few people were many miles away but I found a place in Worcester called Goldstitch who had leathers in the list of alterations they could do.
Off I went to Worcester and met the proprietor Morteza, He had a good look, did a few measurements and said no problem.
Well, three weeks later I went with apprehension to collect the jacket today and he has done an amazing job. Jacket fits just fine now and the work looks original. Good price too. Couldn't ask for more.
So, if anyone might be looking for leather alterations in the UK, (don't know if he does postal work) I can recommend Morteza at Goldstitch, Worcester.
