This jacket caught my eye:

I really like its design, and in white leather with gold stitching it is striking. Fortunately it's too small for me. [emoji16]

I haven't heard any talk here about the maker, though. Is anyone familiar with Shields?

Shields, I do believe, is a Canadian maker and may be related in some way to British Cycle Racers/ Brimaco. I believe a Buco/Brooks/Reed type thing except in Canada eh.

If you look closely at the label of the jacket, indeed, it says they're from Toronto. I wondered about a Brimaco relationship, too, as the styling is very similar.

The lightening zips too. That's a Canadian maker of hardware. Shields are nice. Never had one but several have caught my eye. Particularly this model in blue. Go fig.

A good CR design, nice contrast between the white leather and the golden stitching.
I've spoted a few Shields before. Most if not all of them were CR designs.

I've owned a couple of Shields (of Toronto) over years...one in black which I sold. And I still have one in Blue. Same design- with the Lightening zips, shoulder pads and buckles. Serviceable cowhide leather and decent quality for the time. They are definitely a very distinctive take on the classic cafe racer, especially in the white and blue.

There was a blue one just like that recently for sale on eBay. They were asking $180. Definitely different and cool. Just not quite my size.

Yup. Dude had two. The blue and a tan version. I was close. But I knew it'd end up small.

You could always stop lifting weights and eating to get that small. Then the adventure starts all over! New jackets to find to fit in them :D
