It's based on a 30's design by Levi's. Ask about the cognac CXL. It's insane. Super heavy leather and beautiful color.

Absolutely all positive experiences working with Johnson Leathers. I've had several jackets made through them, and Alan was very patient and always accommodating with all my changes. Can't say enough...sometimes I wish I didn't live so close to their shop-- custom jackets can be addicting!

Wow! Nice. I’m new to the forum and I was trying to figure out how to reference the jacket with the button cuffs and front waistband. Obviously Johnson’s does incredible work. Does that style have a name or is it custom? I want a jacket from Johnson’s and I’ll prob have him build me one sort of like that. If you don’t mind me asking what did it cost to make that one?

According to Alan it’s a 2 oz. vegetable tanned horsehide leftover from another job, so I think I lucked out.
