I like most of the suggestions, they are pretty cool.

Not to highjack a thread, but what would you go with a Jeep Rubicon? I just normally wear my Vanson Enfield.

I'd stick with your first thought and also say Veste de Rallye. I like mine, even though it is very heavy, the fit is much better than on my Barnstormer or Cheyenne and these slightly shorter single-row button coats are nice and easy to wear..

Guys, stop failing. It obviously has to be a UK jacket.

Ha, I thought of the original Mini Coopers when I first read it, so my head went to Lewis too. Most mod revivalists only seem interested in the comedy mod parkas and skinny suits thing, but back in the day Lewis sold leathers to mods just as they did rockers. Mods would certainly have worn the Cafe Racer, the Dominator, the Corsair.... but the rest are too 'busy', I think, for the mod look. And they'd never have seen any chance of getting a bit of patina on them, nor patches. Chances are, though, you can tell an old mod jacket by how pongy it is. Those few mods who had cars used to like to drive around with the windows up, fully dressed, to pretend they had aircon - even in full Summer.

UK jacket for BMW? [emoji3]try this :

Nice take on that style. Are those Mr Freedom?

Those are Thedis. I believe those were custom order for some BMW motorist club or something.

Ah! Yes.... I remember Mr Freedom did something in these lines, but the leather/canvas mix is very Thedi. I like the 'ruggedised' version of the original design by adding the leather pads. Reminds me of the relationship between the Lewis Lightning and the later Lewis Star Lightning models.

Well Mini Cooper driving Mods wore Crombie overcoats, short Italian style mohair suit jackets and Harrington’s but if you want to wear leather in your little flying machine it’s got to be an A2 or a G1 (They also wore leather or suede bomber jackets). In Summer they’d have worn a Lee Levi or Wrangler denim jacket with Levi Sta-prest and a Fred Perry or Ben Sherman shirt.

In 1964, when Paddy Hopkirk won The Monte Carlo Rally, in his Mini Cooper S, the must have fashion of the day was a blouson leather in the same colour as Paddy's racing overalls, with all the sponsor emblems, patches & badges. The blouson was designed with an elasticated waist, from the street view, you wouldn't know that it wasn't a full racing overall.
In 1964 my Mini set me back £120, I certainly wasn't about to pay more than the car for a must have, here today gone tomorrow fashion. However, I wonder how much an original blouson would fetch today?

I'd say you have a good match in Enfield for Rubicon. Both rugged and utilitarian legends.
