Lovely color on that old OR. Our finch population is eating me out of house and home, filling their feeders every other day.I chose a brown vtg.Stetson Open Road this morning to head out for a dog walk and then to fill the bird feeders. The bird feeder perches have been filled with passerines are buy feeding before their migrations. I saw dozens of broad tail hawks flying. They too are on their Fall migration south following the passerines.

I love that one!It was really cool this morning so I thought this plush Tonak velour would help keep me warm. I was right! Just a bit too large for me at 7-5/8, but I really like this one. Bashes like a dream, wears like a crown fit for royalty. Super sweet lid.
I got a real nice compliment from a grocery store employee this morning. He told me his Dad collects hats and he threw me the compliment from about 20 yards away, said he could tell it was real nice when I walked in the door!

Bohemian rhapsody in navy from O.F. Hess. One from Steve's remarkable Czech discovery. "Gazela" quality, likely WII era or earlier. Still wearing my Dad's Countess Mara silk sport coat. Might even add a tie later.
