A Remedy for Wrinkled Leather?

Every once in a while I come across a great jacket at a very good price, but with wrinkles in the leather. The one pictured here may be an extreme example, but it aroused my curiosity as to whether there is some remedy or treatment for the problem.
Is there one?

Not really. If it's not creased, it can smooth out some. But creases and stretching tend to be permanent in leather.

One remedy is to roll the leather in every direction, effectively creasing it in every direction and at all points, so that they mutually cancel each other out. That can give a smoother, if rumpled appearance, but the color loss in the original creases will still be more apparent.

I had a used jacket turn up looking slightly less wrinkled.
I washed it in the tub and let it dry on coat hanger and it got rid of 95% of wrinkles.
A few coats of pecards and the jacket basically smoothed out completely.

Seconded - I've always soaked my jackets- wrinkles go away. You can give the jacket a little stretch as they dry to help flatten the leather. The drying may take several days - do not use any heat just air dry (home heating is fine).
