What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Sorry for the crappy phone pic. Frobisher arrived yesterday! Love this jacket and am looking forward to breaking it in. Most pleasant surprise is the depth of color on the dark brown Shinki—lots of mahogany undertones that I’m sure will only get better with age.
Man that's beautiful! The fit is nailed straight down to the ground. When I look at a standard Halfbelt the only thing I focus on is the collar. To me the collar is about 90% of the design element. It just sets the tone for everything else. Dave really did strike gold with that collar. Not going to lie. It's the best I've seen. Well done man. Congrats on a stunning piece.

Not leather, but cotton, a 1940s French canvas cossack jacket. Rare wartime pattern, unlined, deconstructed, but with nutty shoulder construction. I like it.

LW Easy Ryder is here, 4oz HH in 7.5 lbs weight. I was little concern the sleeves might be little too long, but no, everything is perfect. Huge thanks to @AeroFan_07! A genuine great person!

And it seriously looks better on you than it did on me... perfect fit.
AND.... That was one of the few LW jackets I had that actually had a perfectly working large zipper. I cannot remember when Stuart started making the bigger zippers standard and on which models but I specifically started to upgrade all my LW jackets with the #10 zippers. Even then I had one Suburban with a #10 zipper that barely moved up or down without huge effort.

This one was a winner all the way around.

Must be too tight for you I think.

I never know LW can be this comfortable, the football gusset makes huge difference!

Please don't get be started on football underarm gussets. They are fantastic and I wish every jacket I ever owned had these!!!
My LW Roadhouse, I gave my son, has them and it makes mobility a dream. That is another huge plus with Langlitz- they incorporate a half football gusset in the pit.

And is it actually a cotton interlining? It is warmer than my j23, maybe because it's tighter? I don't understand!

No kidding. The CHPs monster zipper sometimes feels like a set of heavy weight upright rows. Usually the first zip of the day for me, then it zips smoother.

I believe the J23 is warmer than the Suburban. Most of the LW jackets do not have interlining standard. My son's Roadhouse had added sleeve length and an added nice warm tartan flannel lining with no interlining.
