1930s Front Quarter horse hide jacket Size 40 to 42"

Beautiful top grain front quarter horse hide jacket in a Havannah Tobacco brown from the late 30s with a belted back to the rear and full length original zipper to the fore.

Original inset single chest pocket with zipper and chain. Two lovely scalloped pockets on the front with original mock tortoise shell buttons. All pockets lined with flannel.

Sateen rayon full liner to body and sleeves.

This is a gorgeous period men's coat tapered to the waist and ideal for driving or cycling or just walking down the street in. Made from fine, sturdy horse hide this is ready to wear and is solid.

Some minor age crackling on one shoulder (see pics) doesn't detract nor weaken the beauty of this fine piece. All in original condition. Leather in wonderful supple condition and being my personal jacket has been well nourished and looked after.

Hi Gents. Thanks for your response. Firstly apologies. I thought I'd listed the price and apparently I hadn't so that's now corrected (£249 GBP).
Next question about the belt. Well the belt back is still there (on the back). But I'm assuming that originally it would have had a two piece belt that buttoned onto the back and wrapped around to the front. If there was one then it's long gone.
Lastly . Photos of the Rayon liner and the mild crackling to one upper shoulder. I'm trying desperately to load those but need to reduce the photo size (bare with me).

Nice Jacket Patty I like the proportions but I will pass. I have vintage a Hercules and a black Harley Davidson in a long half belt style. I am still wearing a pair of Grknson shoes I purchased from you about 10 year past. In fact I polished the shoes yesterday.
