The only black hat I own is a Stetson Diamond Jim *** Club. I got it when I moved to NY because it is a nice hat to wear with my black wool 3/4 coat during the winter months. Otherwise my hats are mostly Walnut, Codovan, and Silverbelly.

I think black hats are pretty classy, but it has to be the right one.

Thank you...started off ALL black, but realized that it needed some pop. Am so fortunate to have a local hatter that does wonderful ribbon work.

The gold branding on the bow keeper will go when the hat gets reblocked by VS and converted to a thin ribbon.
