Here my super old CHiPs from Aero. I got this used, it had been abused, now it's my thrasher too. Don't know when it was made but I've never seen a more beat up aero, I've seen more patina but not more wear and tear. I had a cut repaired I got while extracting my vehicle from a snowbank in Northern New Mexico, I replaced the zip with a beefier one after the original failed. My first horsehide. You can see some of the "teacore" patina on the sleeve in the last photo taken a couple years back.

I thought my G-1 collection was “complete” (ha!) but I found a real gem: a 2002 Excelled Navy-issue G-1 in a rare size 48 Long that dates to the year and month that I was selected for advancement to Navy Chief (a major milestone to the lucky few in the Navy chosen for this position). Picked this one up for under a hundred bucks!
Fits like a glove and the goatskin is superb (very reminiscent of vintage 1950’s and ‘60’s G-1 jackets).
