Re Gamma: But were people significantly anotomically different when that jacket was made? Who had arms long enough for those sleeves but liked their hand warmers at *****e height?

Apparently the fit was right for someone in the early 1950s. I believe the jacket would have been custom made. People were shorter and wore high rise trousers.
