Aero Leathers New MC Jacket - Excelsior

I've said it before and guess I'll say it again. If I'm not going vintage, which I rarely/never do because of the short vintage fit and my 6'2" frame then paying good money for custom jackets with extra length is a given. I don't care to adjust the rest of my wardrobe to fit a short jacket..even if that is ' the way it is supposed to be'. Gawd that is used way too much. Yep I'll buy a custom jacket that I can wear with any of my jeans/pants and it covers my belt. 26-26 1/2 fits my torso to achieve that nicely.

LVC and Aero made a nice version of the jacket without the print on the back called "Ruff and Ready" I understand. They came in various states of distress, with some having no distress at all. I am always looking for one of these in my size.

They later continued to make this jacket but outside of Aero, the leather is different.

I wodner who owns the pattern.... I know the reason Aero can make both the Speedster and the Rockefeller is because they did a deal with LVC that once the Levis LE range was done, Aero would own the pattern and could use it themselves, later on, uncompeting.

I believe this is one of the NON Aero jackets. I could be wrong.
