Aero Highwayman Blue label today for the "post once in a decade storm" beachside walk.
Within 5 minutes of this photo another brief rainsquall came thru from the sou'/sou west.
This is not by "best fitting" jacket , apparently an Aero Highwayman foible.
Smells divine even now , for sure my "best smelling" jacket.
Stands out in the jacket storeroom for that reason AND it's Brown amongst the row of blacks.

No doubt. Luckily, I got everything I need in that department. IH's Lee fits better than ever and so does the Type 3.

Do you also feel just a slight bit of hesitance towards the double denim thing? I’m almost over it, but it’s been a long journey to feel comfortable. It’s still there though and if the weather allows I will always choose leather over denim for that reason alone.

I love the tux double denim delux! But there are alternatives if you don’t! That’s the sole reason I bought this guy. It’s a tux buster.

I'm not much bothered by the Canadian tuxedo anymore, TBH. I can even completely match some of my jeans with my jackets and not mind, though I try not to make a habit out of it. I think it's kinda in right now, too. See quite a few guys dressed in all denim though I can tell they aren't wearing it because it's vintage or anything, just something they've picked up in Zara and the likes.

As for the warmth, both IH's I got, the 21 Type 3 and the 17 oz Lee (oddly enough, they seem exactly the same weight) are very breathable thus don't feel any warmer than my old Levi's. It's a really nice material, you can wear it for as long as the weather'd allow any denim jacket. Once it's done, though, not much anything will do the difference, really.

I've done it for years and years. I just make sure the denim is not the exact same colour or it looks like a Canadian Tuxedo.

My jean jacket has to be lighter or darker than the jeans I am wearing.

I think the shades need to be different.
Old jeans/newish jacket or old jacket/newish jeans. When the shades are too close it looks like a jumpsuit. I went black jacket as well but the dillema comes up frequently with denim shirts.
