Hats “Made Especially for...”

I asked a few days back if anyone had information on Stetsons made especially for someone famous or other because a few came up for sale from various western stars and personalities. Some hats seemed like they might actually have been for the person marked on the sweatband, others did not seem to match.

Here are a couple, maybe a few other members have seen some, genuine or otherwise?

This had made especially for George S Patton caught my eye for the documentation. Am I wrong in placing this as a 50s hat? Because it’s safe to assume Patton didn’t wear any hats after 1945.

Here is one labeled for Governor Ronald Reagan. Looks like a 50s 3X stamped Reagan fifteen years after manufacture? Reagan was not governor until the 60s.

General George had a son, Major General George IV, 1923-2004.
More than likely his??
B
Ps: no idea how Gen George Jr had a son that went to IV instead of III.

Ah. How could I forget. A big but-for: George S. IV was a major, lieutenant colonel, and colonel through the 60s; he is not likely to have had an aide.

The hat still could definitely be his, certainly not his father’s. This briefcase was also up for sale as Patton’s, father of WWII fame.
