Tony Nowak Crystal Skull. Crazy how light it looks in direct sunlight!

That's a great jacket. I also really like battered tan, although I marginally prefer the Thedi 'smashed up buffalo', or whatever it's called.

Thank you zebedee. This is the only Aero jacket that I kept after selling many of my jackets. I liked the Teamster design in slightly lighter weight battered tan. I too really like Thedis washed (antiqued) Buffalo hide finished with bee's wax. It is hefty yet very appealing and a pleasure to wear.

Great jacket HD. Suits you to an absolute T. We are in the dog days soup bowl here in the Midwest eh? I’ve got some yellow leaves on the trees out front. Fall is just begging to begin. Hot summer no doubt.

Hey thanks Tony. Yep hot and humid here in HoosierLand for sure. Only able to wear a jacket on a couple rare cool mornings while going out early for breakfast (only for about an hour), but that's now over since 90s are on the horizon for awhile. Some leaves turning and a few even dropping leaves here. Really I'm kind of looking forward to a cool fall.

It’s been a very hot summer. Normally I spend a good portion of it in the lake. Obviously not the case this year. I too am ready for some cooler fall weather. No more A/C, fire pit in the yard, etc. can’t come soon enough. A strange blur of a summer that I’m happy to look at in the rear view mirror.

Nice. I've become really keen on this mediumish length of leather jacket recently; in part I think it was one worn by one of the characters in Man in the High Castle that wormed it into my mind. I'm especially taken with that more 20s look where there's a button front and a zip pcoket on the breast. (Funnily enough, a combo I didn't care for some years ago - intersting how preferences develop over time.) There's a wodenrful sense of the utilitarian, a eauty in simplicity, about this style, I think in part for me that comes from the similarty in design to a chore coat, but one made out of a lovely leather. Nice design for showing off a great hide like that too.

There does seem to be a derth of mid length leather jackets. I want a car coat. I really don’t need one.
