To be honest, I don't know what to do with this jacket... I've had it so long. I'd like to bring it to someone to do some repairs. I'm thinking maybe Johnson Leathers?

Merv here you go, send your Excelled to Dena - she has worked on a number of member's jackets, and does great work. She fully re-lined a vintage jacket for me. She gets on here from time to time, but this is her really busy season. About 1.5 hours away from me in a small Illinois town. Her website (with contact): https://www.greatleather.com/

I could pretty much wear this valstar and my aero and be covered for the next decade, but where’s the fun in that?

The JL two-tone sorta Trojan came in. It is an amazing jacket and the fit is absolutely perfect. I’m extremely happy. I’ll get fit pics up at some point but I wouldn’t change a thing. Even the cuffs are nice and tight, perfect for riding. This jacket rocks.

Kudos to @AeroFan_07. Perfect transaction, quick shipping, amazingly packed and he included a wide hanger and calendar to boot. Very, very cool.

A while back I posted a poll about stars. Turns out none of what I thought I would do I did haha. The brass stars were for a Vanson that I ended up selling and kept the stars for a future project. I did put the silver stars on the lined no name jacket I found in a closet. I posted a picture of that around Christmas. I was going to put more silver stars on my 618, but last minute changed my mind. I went with black and finally have them on. In person they look really mean. In photos it’s hard to tell they are even there. I do want to thank @Monitor for convincing me to do the black though. It completes the badged up rock n roll look.

These ELMC look fantastic! Please point me to a used 38L!!!!
You’d love the ELMC but I think that the 38 would be a bit restrictive for you.
I was considering the 38L when I ordered mine but I’m glad I didn’t. We are very close in size (I’m 5’9, 72kg) and I have a 40R, I don’t think a size smaller would be comfortable.

Are you sure you've got the Havana? In my eyes the Havana looks more orange. View attachment 300744
Yeah mine is definitely the Havana, as I ordered direct from Eastman.
I’ve seen photos of much lighter coloured batches and the truth is that mine is a little lighter IRL than in the photo I posted, I’m not a great photographer.
I also have an Eastman A2 in Havana as well that is very similar to my Californian but not exactly.
there seems to be a lot of variation between batches.

I had another A2, now sold, in American walnut and it was very similar to your old Californian. I preferred that color but the fit wasn’t great on me.

Glad this made it to you safe & sound. The hanger was from the original owner/seller, and the calendar was actually just for cut protection when the box was opened. It's from 2020 - perhaps you will want to go back and reflect a bit on that year. :)

It's a great jacket and I hope you will get many good years of use out of it!

My boy is all over the calendar. He likes to draw. A thank you is still in order.

Thanks again. I’ll be solely in this jacket for the next 2 weeks or so...for break in. And it’s awesome.
