Hi all,
Does anyone have any information about this "Galimberti" hat? @Daniele Tanto for example? I bought it recently and will receive it in a short period. But i have never heard of it. Thanks in advance.

Marcel, the Galimberti could be an Italian hat. Much more would be understood from photos you do well to the whole and to the details. I still have some doubts about some grammatical errors in the trademark, however some good photos would help:rolleyes:

Marcel, the hat bears an Italian brand, but it seems to have been made by someone who has emigrated or used an Italian surname to feel more chic. I tell you this, even at first glance I thought it was a hat made in Monza, because there are two obvious errors in the Italian language. One is in the mark under the crown where it says "marca di fabbrica" (in Italian language it is "marchio di fabbrica") and another is on the sweatband where the word quality is in French (qualité).
That said, there is no doubt that the hat is cute and a rarity

Thank you very much for the information Daniele... Do you read the brandname as "Galimberti"?

The surname Galimberti is decidedly Lombard (Lombardia, so Monza), with a possible lineage in the province of Reggio Emilia. In Italy there are 2500 families who bear his surname spread in 611 municipalities. Galimberti derives from the Germanic name Warinbert with the meaning of "illustrious defender".
