Fits you well!

Thank you! Right back at you with that trucker, that's a great looking/fitting trucker! Just the right slim fitting look.

thanks man! I saw that u got urself a new jacket. Nice fit

Thanks man, i did and love how this turned out.

I did not realize initially that his Manhattan was a j24, I guess I wasn’t paying enough attention. What liner did you opt for? I do like the navy quilted rayon he offers standard on the Manhattan.

That’s understandable, going a little crazy could backfire and lead to a seldom worn jacket. I think my “crazy” would probably a jacket in some sort of green or olive colored leather. A little out there but nothing that couldn’t be worn regularly

Yes, I'm not familiar with the buco brand but the j24 pattern he makes looks good to me. I still haven't talked to Greg about the details for the j24, also I'm still undecided regarding the lining at this time. The navy quilted rayon is intriguing to me, I have never had that in a jacket before. It might be too warm where I live so I have to be sure on it

My quirky is wide tipped collars and vertical chest pocket placement, so long as the fit is great I can still wear those jackets just fine. That's true but I think a green jacket is not too bad too but it depends on the shade for sure lol i really love the olive badalassi with black overdye boot that I have and the waxed olive rough out wescos look cool too.

I have the same jacket. Love it. You’re brave to put that jacket thru the laundry. I’d be afraid of ruining it.
I've totally abused it and it's as strong as ever. I'd be careful on some kind of machines like the ones with the middle agitator because things get tangled in those. And you just need to check it in the dryer every 10 mins or so. But these jackets are built stronger than we think they are. Just remember to dry them thoroughly and if they went through a long dryer session and lots of soap, I'd put some conditioner on them afterwards.

Gibson & Barnes “Civil” G-1 with real mouton fur collar & Thinsulate lining (and hand warmer side pockets). I wore this most of the time last winter working in NY harbor and it’s getting lots of wear this year too. Can handle just about anything Mother Nature hurls at us; rain, wind, snow, ice, fog, sleet, etc. With an LL Bean goose down vest underneath, this “Winter G-1” is good to about zero degrees F or so.

Thanks man! It really is such a wonderful creation by Greg! I'll try to take photos with a thick sweater on later this week. I had Greg spec this for a light layering jacket since I already have the black JL jacket that is a much slim fitting jacket than this.

Deerskin evolution. Love this leather, it is molding to my body.

That is starting to roll and crease! It's just going to get even better! When is your next himel jacket order going to be fulfilled?
I’m really like how it’s starting to take shape, it’s also darkened a touch after a couple of light rains.
I was told it was entering production 2 weeks and it would take about a month or so to receive it. So hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

That's cool to know, that the medium brown shinki will darken over time! It's almost there to you! I forgot what pattern you went with for that other himel order?

I’m excited to see how much darker it will actually get or if it will stay closer to what it is now.
Patiently waiting haha. The other jacket is the Heron A1 button front

I kinda knew it was the A1 heron because it has a button closure and as you mentioned before you are partial to buttons. there was a zip up black heron for sale last year in the classifieds and Im still bummed that I didn't buy it

You wear it well, you made a great choice. When I look at a beautiful jacket I can not wear I envy your size. I've done very well finding vintage Jackets in my size 42/44. I had to go through a lot of jackets to get there. During the search I've acquired many jackets that will never fit me. Jackets I've not seen worn. There are 7 in this room. When Covid subsides I will find a model for some pictures/videos. Being worn brings them back to life.

What size do you wear?
